Privacy Policy for Data Driven Intuition

Privacy Policy - Build Your Donna Online Workshop

Effective date: 9/7/2026 Last updated: 9/7/2026

Data Driven Intuition ("DDI," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you register for and attend the Build Your Donna online workshop, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

By registering for the workshop, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Data Driven Intuition - 1609 Sewee Fort Rd, Mt Pleasant SC 29466 - [email protected].

For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

Registration and payment information. When you purchase a ticket, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and billing details. Ticket purchases are processed through Ticket Tailor and its payment processors. Your full payment card number is entered directly with the payment processor and is never transmitted to or stored by DDI. We receive only confirmation of payment and limited transaction details (such as the last four digits of the card, the amount, and the date).

Information you provide during the workshop. This may include questions you ask, comments you make in chat, your display name, and any information you choose to share verbally or on camera.

Workshop recording. The live session is recorded. If your camera, microphone, or chat is active, your name, voice, image, and messages may be captured in that recording. See Section 5.

Communications. If you email us or reply to a workshop message, we keep that correspondence and any information in it.

Technical information. Our ticketing page, email messages, and the video platform used to host the workshop may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and whether an email was opened or a link clicked.

3. Information we do NOT collect or access

We want to be explicit about this, because the workshop involves you building in your own tools:

  • The workshop is follow-along. You are not given access to DDI's systems, accounts, files, or infrastructure at any point.
  • You use your own accounts. You attend with your own Anthropic/Claude license and your own Google account. DDI does not receive, hold, or have any ability to access your Claude account, your Google account, your credentials, your API keys, your prompts, your files, or anything you create or store in those environments.
  • We do not access your business data. Anything you build during the workshop stays in your environment and is yours alone. We never see it unless you deliberately choose to show or send it to us.
  • We do not collect government ID numbers, Social Security numbers, or financial account credentials.

4. How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Process your ticket purchase and issue your receipt and access link
  • Send you workshop logistics, materials, reminders, and any follow-up resources
  • Send you text message reminders and updates about your workshop, if you opt in
  • Deliver and support the workshop itself
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer service
  • Handle refunds, transfers, or cancellations
  • Send you marketing emails about future DDI workshops, keynotes, and offerings (see Section 6)
  • Improve our workshops and materials
  • Keep records required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance
  • Detect and prevent fraud or misuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Workshop recording

The live workshop session is recorded so that registered attendees can review it afterward.

How the recording is used:

  • Shared with registered attendees of this workshop
  • Used internally by DDI to improve future sessions

The recording is not sold, published and it is not shared with anyone outside the registered attendee group.  Screenshots or video clips may be used in marketing materials to promote DDI and future workshops.

Your choices:

  • You may keep your camera and microphone off for the entire session and participate through chat or Q&A instead.
  • If you prefer not to appear in any portion of the recording at all, keep your camera off, your microphone muted, and avoid the public chat. Send questions to the host privately or by email.
  • If you appear in a recording and later want that portion removed or your identifying details edited out, email us at [email protected] and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request for any recording still under our control.

If you do not consent to being recorded in any form, please contact us before the session and we will discuss options, including a refund.

6. Marketing emails and text messages

When you register, we add your email address to DDI's mailing list so we can tell you about future workshops, sessions, and related offerings.

You can opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing [email protected]. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages related to a workshop you have paid for, such as your receipt, access link, or schedule changes.

Text messages (SMS). If you check the SMS consent box at checkout, or text YES to our number, DDI will send text messages about workshops you registered for, such as reminders, access links, and schedule changes. Message frequency varies (about 2-4 per workshop). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email [email protected]. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories in Section 7 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

7. Who we share information with

We share your information only with service providers who help us operate the workshop, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Ticket Tailor - ticketing, registration, and checkout
  • Payment processor used by Ticket Tailor (Stripe) - payment processing
  • Video conferencing provider (Zoom) - hosting and recording the live session
  • Email service provider - sending workshop communications and marketing emails
  • Marketing automation (Make.com) - workflow to automate sending emails to ticket purchasers
  • SMS provider (Twilio) - sending workshop text messages to attendees who opt in
  • Accounting, bookkeeping, and professional advisors - financial and legal compliance

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We encourage you to review Ticket Tailor's privacy policy at the time of purchase.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

If DDI is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction; we will notify you if that occurs.

8. How long we keep your information

  • Transaction and tax records: retained as long as required by applicable law, generally seven years.
  • Registration and contact details: retained while you remain on our mailing list, and deleted or anonymized on request.
  • Workshop recordings: retained for internal reference and attendee access, and deleted or edited on request to remove your identifiable portions.
  • Correspondence: retained for as long as needed to resolve the matter and maintain business records.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on established third-party providers (Ticket Tailor and its payment processor, Stripe) for checkout and payment handling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

All attendees. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing email. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

US state privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. DDI does not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

EU/UK residents (GDPR and UK GDPR). If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right to access your data, correct it, request erasure, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

Our legal bases for processing are:

  • Contract - processing your ticket, delivering the workshop, and sending you transactional messages
  • Consent - marketing emails, text messages, and your participation on camera or in chat in a recorded session
  • Legitimate interests - improving our workshops, preventing fraud, and running our business
  • Legal obligation - tax, accounting, and regulatory record-keeping

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. International transfers

DDI operates in the United States, and our service providers may store or process data in the United States or other countries. If you register from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

12. Children

This workshop is intended for business professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

13. Cookies

Our ticketing checkout is hosted by Ticket Tailor, which uses cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the checkout, remember your session, and provide analytics. Our email messages may use tracking pixels to tell us whether a message was opened or a link clicked. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may prevent checkout from working.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted at the ticketing page, with the effective date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be communicated by email to affected registrants.
